The Milwaukee Bucks entered the offseason with many question marks surrounding their roster.
The Bucks had a disappointing end to their season after getting knocked out in the first round of the playoffs.
They had high hopes of bringing back many of their top players.
Two of those players were Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez.
According to Shams Charania, the Bucks officially re-signed both Middleton and Lopez.
Bucks retain their two cornerstones — Brook Lopez and Khris Middleton — in free agency. Massive for Milwaukee in a market that included a similar lucrative offer for Lopez from Houston. https://t.co/r2BEWGkHRX

Middleton was the first to sign when he got a three-year $102 million contract.
Then Lopez followed by signing a two-year $48 million deal.
Both were key roles players on the Bucks last season and fit in great next to Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Middleton was the Bucks’ fourth-leading scorer (15.1 points per game) while Lopez was arguably the best defensive player in basketball.
Now with both back in the fold, the Bucks should once again be championship contenders.
The Bucks needed to assure that they kept their core in place.
They should remain one of the Eastern Conference favorites for at least the next few years.
It will be interesting to see what other moves are made around the East.
One team to keep an eye on is the Miami Heat.
They knocked the Bucks out in the first round this past year and are in the running to land Damian Lillard.
The path through the East may be getting much more difficult shortly.
