The New York Knicks better be ready, because Jimmy Butler is coming to town.
Butler is playing like a man on a mission right now, having the most impressive numbers in the NBA playoffs so far while leading his No. 8 seed Miami Heat to a huge upset over the Milwaukee Bucks.
That’s why Stephen A. Smith — a well-known Knicks fan — claims to be scared of that man.
Jimmy Butler is coming for the Mecca, and I’m scared.

Smith says that Butler is “salivating” at the thought of taking over New York City, going to “the Mecca” while breaking the hearts of diehard Knicks fans.
The Knicks punched their ticket to the second round by beating the Cleveland Cavaliers by a margin of four games to one.
It was New York’s first playoff series win since 2013, so it’s only natural to think that the city is going to be vibrating come Sunday when the Heat arrive at Madison Square Garden.
However, Knicks fans sure know a thing or two about heartbreak.
Both teams could be undermanned for the opening matchup, as Knicks forward Julius Randle tweaked his ankle, and there’s still no word on his status for Game 1.
Meanwhile, the Heat are still without Tyler Herro.
That sets the stage for Butler to continue his historic run while commanding respect every time he sets foot on the court.
Because of that, Smith has every right to be scared for his beloved Knicks.
Butler and New York head coach Tom Thibodeau know each other well from their days with the Chicago Bulls, so that could give the Knicks an edge from a tactical standpoint.
With that being said, it doesn’t seem like there’s any possible adjustment to cool Butler down at the moment.
