Green Bay Packers fans have been through an emotional roller coaster over the past few years. The transition from Aaron Rodgers to Jordan Love wasn’t the smoothest, given Rodgers’ exit from the team, and some fans have mixed emotions about Love.
The team’s record this season isn’t as strong as fans would like, especially given that they’ve lost to teams like the Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns. However, Love hasn’t been the primary reason for their issues.
In many ways, he’s having a career season, and his stats over the past few years have been impressive. For instance, reporter Jacob Morley highlighted on X that Love has had 94 passes over 25 yards since 2023, which is the most of any quarterback in those two years.

Despite having an elite back on the roster in Josh Jacobs, Love has shown that he isn’t afraid to throw the ball downfield, connecting on many of these deep passes. The Packers’ wide receiver room hasn’t always helped him, especially in this statistical category, and one can only wonder what Love could do with some higher-caliber pass-catchers.
Christian Watson is starting to figure things out and turn into a bona fide WR1, and with Tucker Kraft out for the season, there’s certainly room for at least one more pass-catcher to establish themself. If the Packers’ skill-position players improve at all over the next few months, especially heading into the playoffs, there’s no telling what Love’s ceiling might look like moving forward.
