The Dallas Cowboys are already preparing Cooper Rush to be their starting quarterback in Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The former Central Michigan standout will be putting his 5-0 record as Cowboys starter on the line against the only undefeated squad left this season.
Rush has done enough during the Cowboys ‘ four-game winning streak, especially not turning the ball over.
Therefore, the Cowboys have reason to trust him against the league-leading Eagles.
However, sports media personality and outspoken Cowboys supporter Skip Bayless brought up another possibility.
I am not ruling out Dak Prescott as a BREAKING NEWS starter Sunday night in Philly. But that would be a big mistake.

Bayless tweeted, “I am not ruling out Dak Prescott as a BREAKING NEWS starter Sunday night in Philly. But that would be a big mistake.”
Prescott has been attending practices after successful surgery on the thumb injury that has sidelined him since their season opener.
The Cowboys elected not to put him on injured reserve, hoping he will return within four weeks.
They made the right decision, and he is already conducting throwing drills.
No Rush In Bringing Prescott Back
As Bayless also said, having Prescott start this Sunday will be a big mistake for several reasons.
First, Rush is on a roll, and he has done his best to give his team a chance to win every game.
For the most part, he knows which buttons to plug and protects the ball by limiting mistakes.
Second, the Cowboys still have a good 4-2 record if they lose to the Eagles.
Third, the Cowboys’ defense has been so dominant that Rush needed just 102 passing yards to defeat the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams in Week 5.
Therefore, the Cowboys can afford to bring Prescott back slowly and possibly have him start in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions.
