The NFL Season is nearly upon us.
Fans have waited several months for the season to start back up, and we’re now less than a month away.
Ahead of the 2023 campaign, Rich Eisen recently highlighted five players that he believes have a “Chip on their shoulder.”

Eisen’s first mentioned player was Justin Fields of the Chicago Bears at No. 5.
Fields is entering his third NFL season.
Although he made significant strides throughout 2022, growing as a passer and rusher, countless analysts doubt his ability to lead a franchise.
Fields has been vocal throughout the offseason, predicting that he’ll be the first quarterback in Bears history to throw for 4,000 yards in a single season.
He is hungry to enter the year strong, hoping to silence his doubters.
The next player mentioned at No. 4 was DeAndre Hopkins.
Hopkins was signed by the Tennessee Titans, a surprising landing spot to many.
He felt disrespected and unable to perform to the best of his abilities in Arizona and is looking to make a massive impact in Tennessee.
Baker Mayfield was next on the list at No. 3.
Mayfield is on his fourth NFL team after not finding the success projected on him during his time with the Cleveland Browns.
He has been itching for a chance to lead a new team and finds a prime opportunity with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Derek Carr is in Eisen’s number two spot, largely due to the unhappiness with the Las Vegas Raiders.
