The Green Bay Packers are undergoing a changing of the guard this season.
After nearly two decades of having Aaron Rodgers behind center, they traded the future Hall of Famer to the New York Jets.
Now the Packers have turned their franchise over to Jordan Love.
Love was selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft but has yet to play a full NFL season.
He has started only one game in his career which was a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
But, for Love to be successful the Packers’ offensive line needs to hold up.
That is where star offensive tackle David Bakhtiari comes in.
He is their best offensive lineman but there has been some speculation that he might be traded.
Packers GM Brian Gutekunst wanted to nip that rumor in the bud.
According to Ari Meirov, Gutekunst said: “We’re not going to trade David, so let’s get that out of the way.”

This is great news for Packers fans and especially Love, who needs a player like Bakhtiari up front.
Bakhtiari has battled a plethora of injuries throughout his career.
He has not played a full season since 2019 and has only played in 12 games in the past two seasons.
There is no question Bakhtiari is valuable when on the field, he is just not on the field very often.
Green Bay will be one of the most interesting teams to watch this year.
If everything goes right for them, they could be a playoff team.
But, that will require Love to take his game up another level.
