Green Bay Packers fans are unsure of what to expect from the team’s defense when their games begin. Sometimes, as evidenced by their performance in Week 1 against the Detroit Lions, the Packers can look like a top-tier unit that can shut down a top offense. At other times, they look shaky at best, and they’ve blown commanding leads against the Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns.
Adding Micah Parsons has certainly been a boost, but he can’t do it by himself. The Packers’ other players need to step up in the clutch, helping an elite talent like Parsons along the way. Analyst Zach Kruse pointed to Devonte Wyatt as someone who could improve, with 13 total pressures in the first three games of the season.
Packers also need Devonte Wyatt to rebound as a rusher.
Wyatt had 13 total pressures during the first 3 games. Then he hurt his knee in Dallas in Week 4, didn't return until Week 8.
Last 3 games: 2 total pressures (0 sacks or hits)

He noted that Wyatt has taken a large dip in production lately, having just two pressures in his past three games, which includes zero sacks and zero quarterback hits. If Wyatt can’t step it up soon, it will be difficult for the Packers to get traction against some of the best teams in the league.
This team still has a strong chance of making the playoffs and potentially winning the division, but they’ll have to clean up their act moving forward. Wyatt has been a strong player when healthy and at his best, but he hasn’t lived up to the hype in recent weeks.
With the Minnesota Vikings on the schedule for Week 12, and the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears coming up in the following weeks, this team can’t afford any mistakes. Will players like Wyatt step up in a big way and deliver clutch defensive performances?
