The Cleveland Browns don’t have anything to play for this season, at least in terms of contention.
They’re 3-10 and well outside the playoff picture, meaning they will now focus on the NFL Draft instead.
That doesn’t mean they don’t have reasons to compete at a high level, with several players looking to make a name for themselves.
Then again, the fans might not feel the same way.
That, plus some inclement weather on Sunday, may have led to a low attendance at Huntington Bank Field.

Not even watching Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, the back-to-back defending Super Bowl champions, was appealing enough for the fans to show up.
It’s hard to blame them.
The Browns entered the season with high hopes and expectations.
They were projected to be a playoff-caliber team in the hard-fighting AFC North Division.
That wasn’t the case, and some fans were infuriated by the team’s decision to keep Deshaun Watson until he finally suffered a season-ending injury.
The Browns are still pretty much stuck with Watson for the long run.
He’s hurt and makes a lot of money, and few teams might be willing to absorb his big contract.
Even so, as bad as things are for this team this season, they might only be a few tweaks away from contending, so it shouldn’t be long before the fans flood the gates again.
