Pro Bowl quarterback Deshaun Watson is making his presence felt with the Cleveland Browns.
After his introductory press conference, he participated in voluntary offseason workouts.
He is also treating the offense to a trip to the Bahamas to continue their workouts and to build team chemistry.
It’s a peculiar choice of venue for workouts given the distractions in that tourist destination.
But only time can tell if it will work.
So far, Watson is ensuring that he is worth every penny of the five-year, $230 million deal he got.
But before he moves forward, there are some matters that he must address about the past.

CBS Sports’ Josina Anderson tweeted, “I’m also told that NFL officials are currently scheduled to meet with #Browns QB Deshaun Watson in Texas this week, per league sources.”
It’s possible that the meeting will be about possible sanctions for his sexual misconduct cases.
Browns Must Prepare For The NFL’s Decision
Removing his criminal liability from the 22 cases paved the way for his return to the NFL.
But while the legal system is one thing, the league will have its own judgment.
Therefore, the meeting might boil down to a potential suspension for a certain amount of games.
The league may also give Watson a chance to appeal the decision.
If a suspension is bestowed, the former Houston Texans play-caller wouldn’t lose much money from his fully-guaranteed contract.
After all, he will only earn a base salary of a little over $1 million in 2022.
If Watson will sit out some games, Baker Mayfield could shock the NFL world by staying with the team
Yet if Mayfield gets traded or released, Jacoby Brissett will take over a quarterback until Watson returns.
Browns fans hope that the sanction isn’t too harsh, giving their team a fair chance to compete for a playoff spot.
