Tuesday was quite a crazy day in baseball.
The Los Angeles Angels, who have fallen well out of postseason contention, made some major moves, placing several players on waivers.
Matt Moore, Hunter Renfroe, Lucas Giolito, Reynaldo Lopez, and Randal Grichuk were all placed on waivers.
But the Halos weren’t the only team to take part in this odd trend.
The New York Yankees placed center fielder Harrison Bader on waivers, while the New York Mets waived right-hander Carlos Carrasco.
The Chicago White Sox also waived Mike Clevinger while the Detroit Tigers did the same with Jose Cisnero.
On Twitter, MLB insider Ken Rosenthal listed all players that were reportedly waived on Tuesday.

Rosenthal notes something very important, that several teams can place claims on players who have been waived by their old teams.
However, the claim goes in reverse order based on winning percentage, meaning that if the Texas Rangers and Baltimore Orioles were to place a claim on a certain player, Texas would receive that player based on the fact that they have a lesser winning percentage.
Rosenthal predicts that several teams on the fringes of Wild Card contention will likely be making some moves to add some players.
In the American League, the Toronto Blue Jays and Boston Red Sox are on the fringes in the Wild Card race.
In the National League, teams such as the Arizona Diamondbacks, Cincinnati Reds, and Miami Marlins could look to add some of these pieces, as they are currently on the outside looking in.
We’ll see which players end up where.
