MLB Fan Shares A Sad Comparison For The Angels

At this point, it’s pretty clear that the Los Angeles Angels have hit rock bottom.

After a fast start that saw them take command of the American League West division by May, a 14-game losing skid took the wind out of their sails and have left them well out of postseason contention.

Since then, they’ve fired a manager and had a big brawl with the Seattle Mariners, yet nothing has worked for them.

One baseball fan pointed out a sad fact on Twitter, that the Baltimore Orioles have a better record right now than the Angels, the team that has Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani in the same lineup.

An Ugly Reality

This is a pretty depressing reality if you’re an Angels fan.

It goes to show that literally nothing is going right for the organization.

It’s a floundering franchise with a lot of holes, despite all the talent on the roster.

But when you’ve got a worse record than even a lowly team like the Orioles, you know something is wrong, given that the Orioles don’t have much on their roster.

Granted though, the Orioles have been playing better baseball this year than in the recent past.

Still, if you’re a fan on the Angels, this hurts, and it hurts bad.

You never want to find yourself looking at the standings and realizing that a team that you’re clearly better than on paper is playing better baseball than you at the moment.

That’s the depressing reality for the Angels and their fans right now.

Even with Trout and Ohtani, the two best players in all of baseball, this team can’t get it going and is losing to some bad teams.
