Speculation surrounding Maxx Crosby‘s future with the Las Vegas Raiders has intensified in recent weeks despite his role as a franchise cornerstone.
Rumors have persisted as the NFL trade deadline nears, with reports saying the Dallas Cowboys inquired about the defensive end.
Crosby recently addressed the ongoing speculation and made his position clear.
“I really try to block out all the noise, rumors and things of that nature I can’t control. It’s just a waste of time and energy when it comes to that. Walking through the facility, and I see it all over the TVs, with teammates around and stuff, it’s awkward. But I’m focused on now and where my feet are at and focused on winning,” Crosby said.

Crosby acknowledged the Raiders have not reached the level they need but emphasized that every practice and repetition offers an opportunity to improve.
He stressed that progress cannot fall on one individual and must come from a collective effort throughout the locker room.
His focus remains on becoming the best version of himself in all areas, on and off the field, while leading the organization toward its goals.
Owner Mark Davis also addressed Crosby’s status with the franchise and the persistent rumors directly, repeating his stance that it has no intention of trading the Pro Bowl pass rusher.
Davis expressed frustration with the ongoing speculation and questioned why anyone continues to believe the Raiders would reverse their position on keeping Crosby for the foreseeable future.
