The Pittsburgh Steelers have added another playmaker to their roster.
Though they failed to trade for a wide receiver before the NFL deadline, they brought in a familiar face for Aaron Rodgers, signing veteran wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
The veteran speedster reportedly had several teams to choose from, and he recently revealed the reason he joined the Steelers.
“He is the reason,” Valdes-Scantling said of Rodgers.
Was Aaron Rodgers a big reason why Marquez Valdes-Scantling came to Pittsburgh?
MVS: "He is the reason."

Valdes-Scantling spent the first four years of his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers, and Rodgers was his quarterback.
Though he had some issues with drops, he was also Rodgers’ favorite target on deep passes.
No one knows how to make the most of a free play with a throw down the field like Rodgers, and he now has a real weapon to do so.
Rodgers has always excelled at making his top pass catchers even better, and he has also developed a strong chemistry with mid-tier receivers like Valdes-Scantling.
D.K. Metcalf will continue to be Pittsburgh’s undisputed primary target, but given Valdes-Scantling’s speed and experience with Rodgers, opposing secondaries will also have to pay close attention to him.
That should open up more space for a sputtering running game.
The Steelers are leading the AFC North, but with Lamar Jackson returning for the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh knew it had to do something.
Now, it’ll be up to its defense to build on the momentum from the Week 9 win against the Indianapolis Colts.
The Steelers can rest assured that Rodgers will take care of business on his side of the ball.
