By defeating the Kansas City Chiefs, the Detroit Lions won their first regular season opener since 2017
This was eye-opening to many of their doubters, and confirmation for those who believed in them.
Nick Wright, an FS1 analyst, has been very complimentary of the Chiefs during the offseason.
Wright has gone on record saying that he believes the Chiefs will put together a perfect season.
He also got a tattoo that says “Never a doubt,” showcasing his belief in the Chiefs.
After beating the Chiefs, the Lions’ official Twitter account made sure to call Wright out.

They posted a photo from a video game, which indicates their doubt about the Chiefs.
By beating the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Lions made a statement to both Wright and the NFL, showing they are ready to compete.
The NFC North could be theirs for the taking, especially if the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers struggle early.
The Lions have never won this division, but if they keep up this momentum, they could have a fast track to change their fortune.
Wright predicted the Chiefs to go 20-0 this season, which cannot happen now due to their opening night loss.
Fans will soon see how the rest of the year shakes out for these two teams, who have a lot of games left to play.
Can the Chiefs bounce back, especially if Travis Kelce returns to the field in Week 2?
And, can the Lions keep their foot on the gas, moving forward with their current momentum?
