The Baltimore Ravens were on the brink of disaster heading into this NFL offseason, with the team being the verge of losing superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson due to a contract dispute between the two sides.
Things got so bad in Baltimore during these contract negotiations that Jackson was ready to leave the team that drafted him, as he let it be known that he told the team to trade him if a deal couldn’t get done.
Fortunately for the Ravens, the team didn’t have to take that drastic measure as they were finally able to see eye-to-eye with Jackson on a new deal while also adding some offensive firepower to an already talented roster.
The Ravens were able to add two talented receivers into the mix, superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and rookie wideout Zay Flowers, to join star tight end Mark Andrews in the passing game.
Former NFL star LeSean McCoy has been impressed by these moves the team made during the offseason and believes the Ravens could be “scary” good offensively, via Speak On FS1.

The additions of Beckham and Flowers alone are enough to get excited about in Baltimore in terms of their chances of competing for a Super Bowl title next season.
On top of that, the team has added veteran running back Melvin Gordon to the backfield along with J.K. Dobbins to add to the threat Jackson can be when he takes off and runs.
The only real question moving forward is whether this team can stay healthy, with Beckham, Jackson, and Dobbins all being question marks.
However, if these Ravens stars can stay healthy, Baltimore will be a serious threat in the AFC.
