It’s not unusual to see stars and celebrities enjoying some sporting events while in Los Angeles, but this particular game was more star-studded than usual.
The reason? Soccer superstar Lionel Messi was set to take the field, and he put on a show for those in attendance.
Gerardo Martino’s team got a stunning 3-1 road win over the home side, with the Argentine forward handing out a couple of assists.
Notably, this isn’t the first time that LeBron got a glimpse of Messi’s greatness.
He headlined a long list of celebrities in attendance when the former FC Barcelona superstar made his MLS debut in Miami.
Messi’s arrival in the U.S. has been met with unmatched excitement, and the frenzy is just getting started.
The former PSG standout is leading a major turnaround for an ever-struggling Inter Miami FC that made a huge splash in the market, also signing fellow Barcelona stars Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets.
With Messi leading the way, The Herons were able to win the Leagues Cup, the very first trophy in franchise history.
And even though he’s not getting any younger, he’s reportedly looking forward to playing for his national team in the upcoming FIFA World Cup before riding into the sunset, so stars will have more than enough opportunities to watch him do his thing.
