Washington is currently in the midst of a six-game winning streak.
One of the team’s best players, Kyle Kuzma, took note of that achievement on Twitter, commenting on the streak with a simple statement: “Back on track.”
The team’s biggest talents were impressive on Monday evening.
Kuzma scored 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Meanwhile, Bradley Beal showed why he’s been the centerpiece of the team for so long with his 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists.
Kristaps Porzingis was also solid with his 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists too.
The Wizards have crept back into the top ten in the East over the last few games.
They are currently the ninth-best team with a 24-26 record.
Their six-game streak is very impressive but the question is how long can it go.
They will face off against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday and conventional wisdom suggests they can pull out another victory there.
But what about the Portland Trail Blazers and Brooklyn Nets, who will take on the Wizards on Friday and Saturday?
Will any of those teams put the streak to an end?
More importantly, will the Wizards be able to play like this for the rest of the season?
Even when their current streak ends, can they keep the same level of teamwork and efficiency on the floor in the weeks and months ahead?
