The Golden State Warriors have put themselves into the dynasty conversation after winning a fourth championship ring before last season, as Stephen Curry and company proved that they were still a force to be reckoned with even without superstar forward Kevin Durant.
Although the Warriors are arguably one of the most storied franchises in the NBA as a result of what Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green have been able to accomplish as a trio with Steve Kerr guiding them along the way, another title might put the franchise in a different conversation.
During Magic Johnson’s stint with the Los Angeles Lakers, the purple and gold won five titles during the Showtime era in Los Angeles, meaning the Warriors could possibly join that conversation, which is arguably another level of greatness.
While in China recently, Thompson let it be known that he wants the Warriors to win a fifth ring, which would match Marvel supervillain Thanos via Warriors on NBCS.

Although it’s hard to count out a franchise as resilient as the Warriors, especially with their Big 3 still intact, Golden State will face some tough challenges to get that fifth ring moving forward.
The Western Conference will be as challenging as ever next season, with the defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets being the team to beat, along with some potential contenders like the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers.
The Warriors are expected to be a force to be reckoned with during the 2023-24 campaign, with Kerr and company hoping for another championship run.
