Kevin Durant of the Phoneix Suns has made a name for himself as someone who will say whatever is on his mind, even if people push back against it.
But on Wednesday evening, he said something that many NBA fans agree with.
Speaking to ESPN after his Christmas Day game, via ClutchPoints, Durant called Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets “arguably the best player in the world” and then referred to him as a “top-10 player of all-time.”
Looking at Jokic’s numbers over the last few seasons, it’s hard to argue with Durant.
"[The Nuggets] got arguably the best player in the world, top 10 player of all-time in [Nikola] Jokic."

Durant and his Suns took on the Nuggets on Christmas night, and Jokic’s team gave them a very hard time.
In the end, the Suns pulled off a 110-100 win, but they had a tough time slowing down Jokic, who put up 25 points and 15 rebounds.
It was yet another strong night for Jokic, and another instance of the Nuggets having a lot of problems whenever he was on the bench.
For the season, the three-time MVP is averaging 30.7 points, 12.6 rebounds, and 9.4 assists.
All of those numbers are higher than what he did last year, when he won Most Valuable Player for the third time.
When the season started, it seemed impossible, but Jokic might really have a chance of being named MVP again.
His Nuggets, on the other hand, aren’t where they want to be and there is a lot of talk about them committing to trades before the upcoming NBA deadline
Many people call Jokic one of the best big men of all time, so Durant isn’t alone in his opinion.
He saw Jokic’s greatness up close on Wednesday night and was happy to walk away with a win.
