The Brooklyn Nets picked up a huge win over the Philadelphia 76ers last night at Wells Fargo Center.
The win put the Nets back over the .500 mark, as they improved to 34-33.
As one might expect, Sixers fans were looking forward to the chance to give Ben Simmons an ear full in his return to Wells Fargo Center, and when the opportunity arose, Philly fans wasted no time at all.
But Kevin Durant continues to stick up for his new teammate and had some words for the fans in Philadelphia following the Nets’ big victory, criticizing them for being all over Simmons.

Short And To The Point
This is the perfect response for Durant.
He didn’t fly off the handle or anything like that.
He never lost control of himself.
He just told it like it was, while also delivering a solid comeback.
But he did it in a laid-back manner.
The Nets certainly got the better of the Sixers and their fans last night, and when the fans started heckling Simmons, it was already too late.
The Nets had taken the crowd out of the game and the Philly fans were looking for something to do while they watched their team take a tough loss.
Now, a new rivalry is brewing between these two squads.
Each team got rid of a player that had proven to be a head case, and there was already some tension between the two squads prior to last night’s game.
Fans chanting at Simmons added fuel to the fire, and Durant delivered a perfect comeback to put them in their place following the game.
It’ll be interesting to see where these two teams go from here, but the constant back and forth now seems to have fans wanting a playoff matchup between the two.
