It all comes down to this for Team USA’s men’s basketball team.
The Americans will face France for the gold medal of the 2024 Paris Olympics and many people think they have the advantage.
Speaking on “First Take,” Kendrick Perkins agreed that France is impressive but he still doesn’t think they have what it takes to win it all.
“At the end of the day, Team USA is just too talented across the board,” Perkins said.
.@KendrickPerkins isn't worried about Team USA vs. France in the gold medal game ?

France has multiple special stars on the roster, including NBA Rookie of the Year Victor Wembanyama and Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert.
But that’s just not enough, according to Perkins.
France will have to square off against LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Anthony Edwards, Joel Embiid and others.
Each of those players will be very engaged and intent on winning the gold for their country, and they will be beyond motivated.
They are now even more motivated after their near-loss against Serbia in the semifinals.
France has talent and a ton of potential, but Team USA has more experience and has claimed this prize many times before, including with a win against France in the gold-medal game at the Tokyo Olympics
Many fans share Perkins’ sentiment and aren’t worried about this gold-medal game.
However, many of them also weren’t worried about the game against Serbia, and that ended up being much closer than expected.
That means that Team USA shouldn’t take anything for granted and needs to treat France like the real threat it is.
France defeating the United States would be a major upset, but the Olympics are always full of upsets, so Team USA should be prepared to fight hard.
