The Los Angeles Clippers didn’t get off to a good start in the 2023-24 NBA season.
While it may have taken some time for the team to gel, the Clippers are currently enjoying a great run.
Two-time NBA champion Kawhi Leonard is at the center of this dominant run.
Leonard was asked about his thoughts on the recent, and the 32-year-old had a simple response to the question via Joey Linn on Twitter.
“If you wanna put it in numbers wise. But I’m focused on something bigger than this stretch,” Leonard said.

The Los Angeles Clippers superstar did acknowledge the team’s recent run, but at the same time, he also pointed out how he’s focused on the bigger goal.
In simple terms, the veteran forward knows that leading the Clippers to their first-ever NBA Championship in franchise history should be his ultimate goal, and he’s certainly focused on it right now.
Leonard is averaging a solid 24.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game for the Clippers this season.
Thanks to Leonard’s great play this season, the Clippers are currently the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 15-10 record.
Moreover, the Clippers are currently on a seven-game winning streak, as no team in the NBA is seemingly a match for the franchise right now.
At the end of the day, if the Clippers can manage to carry this form to the 2024 postseason, they may finally end their championship drought in the NBA.
