Jusuf Nurkic is clearly ready for his time with the Phoenix Suns.
Nurkic was just one part of the massive trade that sent Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Suns had their eye on Nurkic and jumped at the chance to sign him in exchange for Deandre Ayton.
While certain players are sometimes disappointed to be traded, Nurkic already looks quite happy in Phoenix.
On Twitter, he posted a picture of himself next to a very tall cactus.
With a bright smile on his face, Nurkic is starting his journey with the Suns.

Last season, the big man averaged 13.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists a game.
Those numbers are a bit lower than what he was producing a few seasons ago but he is still a strong presence on the court, especially down in the paint.
The Suns have been looking for that recently after their relationship with Ayton soured a couple of seasons ago.
They want a talented big man who will work well with others and is comfortable scoring, rebounding, and especially facilitating.
With a list of talented shooters on the Suns, Nurkic will definitely be passing the ball a lot.
He will have to find his teammates at the perimeter and help set them up for clean attempts.
He has experience with that because of his years alongside Damian Lillard, one of the best shooters in the league.
Nurkic could bring a lot to the Suns but he has also had a lot of injuries over the last few years.
Fans are hoping that his tenure in Phoenix is free of the physical problems that often held him back in Portland.
