The end of the 2022-23 NBA regular season is right around the corner, with some exciting storylines brewing ahead of what will likely be an entertaining NBA playoffs.
Plenty of teams and star players stand to benefit from a deep playoff run and an NBA title, with some legacies potentially set to change, like Joel Embiid’s of the Philadelphia 76ers.
The 76ers are currently the third seed in a highly competitive Eastern Conference, with a record of 51-27.
Along with potentially winning his first NBA MVP award, Joy Taylor of Fox Sports argues that Embiid stands to benefit the most from a successful playoff run.

There’s no doubt that Embiid will benefit from a deep playoff run and will significantly add to his legacy with a title if Philadelphia can get the best of the competition.
Although Taylor makes a valid argument, a few other players also stand to benefit just as much, if not more.
Nikola Jokic will solidify his legacy as one of the best big men ever with a title for the Denver Nuggets.
Giannis Antetokounmpo could start to get buzz in the GOAT conversation if able to win a second NBA title.
LeBron James might finally make the GOAT debate difficult to argue with a fifth title added to his resume, and the same could be said for Stephen Curry, who is also shooting for No. 5.
Kevin Durant would quiet his critics if he could lead the Phoenix Suns to a title alongside Devin Booker and Chris Paul.
There’s no shortage of intriguing storylines heading into the playoffs, with plenty of cases for players benefiting greatly from having a successful postseason.
