The Miami Heat headed into the NBA Finals as one of the greatest underdog stories in league history, with Jimmy Butler and company rallying from the Play-in Tournament to the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference to the NBA Finals.
Despite being the underdog through the entire NBA playoffs thus far, the Heat have far exceeded expectations and have already begun to defy the odds in the Finals against a superior opponent in the Denver Nuggets.
Nikola Jokic’s squad was able to come out on top in Game 1 of the Finals in the Mile High City, and many thought the same thing would happen in Game 2, but Erik Spoelstra was able to rally his troops and lead them to a win to tie the series at a game apiece.
With the series now shifting to Miami, Joy Taylor of Fox Sports couldn’t contain her excitement once again, with her favorite NBA team making it a series via Speak On FS1.

Although Miami has made things very interesting as the series heads to the Kayesa Center for Game 3 and Game 4, the Heat still have a long way to go before the team can be crowned champions for what would be the fourth time in franchise history.
The Nuggets are still arguably the better all-around team in this series, with the best player leading the way in Jokic, meaning the Heat will face a tough challenge moving forward against a hungry Denver squad looking to bounce back in Game 3 on the road.
