The Indianapolis Colts are one of the hottest teams in the National Football League right now.
Winners of five of their past six games, they continue to fight strongly and fiercely for a spot in the postseason, and who knows? Maybe even a divisional pennant.
With that in mind, having star RB Jonathan Taylor back on the field for the final three games could be crucial to them.
According to a report by Kevin Bowen, the superstar running back will test his surgically repaired thumb on Thursday’s practice.
Jonathan Taylor will test out his surgically repaired right thumb today.
Will wear some wrap/brace and see how it goes.

And while he didn’t want to make any promises, that could be a huge step in the right direction ahead of Sunday’s clash vs. the Atlanta Falcons.
Gardner Minshew has done a great job of holding down the fort since Anthony Richardson fell with a season-ending injury, and the same can be said of Zack Moss.
Needless to say, adding Tyalor back into the mix would only make this team all the more scary, considering he’s been one of the most explosive and dominant running backs in the game over the past three years or so, at least when healthy.
The Colts’ schedule has been fairly favorable, but they’ve also made the most of every single chance they’ve had to get a win, aside from that tough loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, one that came without their star running back on the field.
Now, they need to finish the season strong to give new coach Shane Steichen the first postseason berth of his young and promising career.
