Jonathan Taylor continued his historic 2025 season with a dominant showing in the Indianapolis Colts‘ Week 10 victory against the Atlanta Falcons in Berlin. The running back rushed for 244 yards and three touchdowns to make Colts history.
Taylor surpassed Edgerrin James to become the Colts’ all-time leader with 66 rushing touchdowns. After the game, Taylor reflected on reaching the milestone and credited those around him for making the achievement possible.
“I mean, not only (Edgerrin), of course, I know he had the record, but you just think about the guys who we’ve had in this organization beforehand. And to be named amongst those legends, it means a lot. I don’t take it for granted, but I also understand how those guys got there and how I got there, and it’s the guys around you, that support you. Like I mentioned, the guys on the edge, also the tight ends, the O-line. It’s those guys who put you into that category. So I appreciate my teammates so much, and it means a lot,” Taylor said.

His 83-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter gave Indianapolis the lead and became the longest scoring run of the 2025 season. The play surpassed Bijan Robinson’s 81-yard touchdown for the Falcons against the Buffalo Bills.

Taylor recorded his fifth three-TD game of the season. He is now one away from matching LaDainian Tomlinson’s single-season NFL record, set in 2006 with the San Diego Chargers.
His production this year ranks among the most dominant rushing campaigns in recent history. He continues to separate himself from the competition as a potential NFL MVP candidate.
The Colts have built their offensive identity around Taylor’s consistency and explosive ability. His presence dictates the rhythm and tempo of their attack on a weekly basis.
While some may view MVP conversations as premature, Taylor’s impact has positioned him as one of the most influential players in the league through the first half of the season. Now, he will try to continue that pace.
