The Miami Heat are going through a rough patch right now.
They were finally able to snap a seven-game losing streak on Wednesday night, and they desperately need some momentum going back on their side.
Terry Rozier is averaging roughly over 11 points on sub-40% shooting since being traded from the Charlotte Hornets, and Erik Spoelstra’s side looks out of sorts.
That’s why there was some speculation about Jimmy Butler’s future with the organization and whether Pat Riley would consider moving on from him before the trade deadline.
Oddsmakers even pointed out the New York Knicks as the odds-on favorite to acquire his services if he were to be made available this season.
With that in mind, his agent went on record to put an end to all speculation, making it loud and clear that he does not intend to leave South Beach any time soon and doubling down on that by stating that he’s going to win a championship with the Miami Heat (via Legion Hoops).

That might sound like a reach, but Butler has actually led the team to the ultimate stage twice in the past four years, so it’s not like he’s that far off.
Then again, the Heat have often lacked the firepower to get the job done at the ultimate stage, which is why they will continue to be a team to look out for when it comes to star players becoming available.
For now, at least we can rest assured that Jimmy Buckets isn’t going anywhere.
