New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart left their Week 10 game against the Chicago Bears after taking a hard hit on a designed run. After losing a fumble, he returned for one additional series before veteran Russell Wilson replaced him at the start of the fourth quarter.
It was later revealed that Dart suffered a concussion. The rookie had been performing well before his exit, completing 19 of 29 passes for 242 yards and adding six carries for 66 yards and two touchdowns.
His performance included a notable achievement that placed him in the NFL record books. Dart became the first quarterback in league history to rush for a touchdown in five consecutive games.

The Bears found new life once Wilson took over. Chicago trailed for most of the afternoon and appeared headed for another defeat.
Wilson struggled to generate momentum after replacing Dart, giving the Bears an opening. Their comeback began when Caleb Williams connected with Rome Odunze on a short touchdown pass.
Minutes later, Williams finished it himself with a rushing touchdown that secured the victory.
New York was left to consider missed opportunities in a game that slipped away after Dart’s exit. The loss, combined with Dart’s potential continued absence, extends the team’s struggles and adds urgency to the concerns surrounding its direction.
