James Harden of the Philadelphia 76ers has certainly had his fair share of ups and downs during his time in the NBA but you can’t deny that he can be a dangerous basketball player.
That is quite evident when you look at the number of three-pointers he’s landed over the years.
In fact, Harden is very close to passing a huge NBA milestone that will place him among the all-time greats.

He has made 2,555 three-pointers during his NBA career.
That means he is only six shots away from surpassing Reggie Miller and becoming number three on the list of most three-pointers made in NBA history.
When Harden achieves this, the only two ahead of him will be Ray Allen and Stephen Curry, who currently holds the title with 3,093 and counting.
Harden Hooping
For his career, Harden has an average of 22.7 points, 8 rebounds, and 10.3 assists a game.
He is usually shooting about 36 percent from beyond the three-point line.
This year, that number is a tad bit lower at 34 percent.
He has always been known for his unique brand of basketball – sometimes to a fault.
He is reliant on “hero ball” – isolating plays that have him go one-on-one against another player instead of passing the ball.
While that can sometimes be very annoying and can often hurt his team, it also gets him to the place he is now, just a few shots away from having a historic amount of three-pointers.
However, to win his first Finals, Harden will need to rely on his team more and be part of a cohesive unit.
That’s what the 76ers are hoping to build with Harden.
So far, the results look good but it remains to be seen just how far this team can go if Harden continues to only count on himself.
