The Golden State Warriors didn’t make a lot of changes in the summer but they’ll still look very different in 2024-25.
This is because they lost their second-biggest star, Klay Thompson, who made his move to the Dallas Mavericks in the offseason.
On Thursday morning, Evan Sidery summed up the team’s new starting five.
He said the lineup consists of Stephen Curry, Brandin Podziemski, Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, and Draymond Green.
Can this team reach the playoffs or even the Play-In Tournament?

There is a lot to be excited about here, especially the fact that the Warriors have two future Hall of Famers.
Curry is still a terrific leader and shooter and can help the team win many games.
And even though Green had his fair share of troubles last season and faced multiple suspensions, his numbers were still steady.
But fans are concerned about Podziemski, Kuminga, and Wiggins.
Do they have what it takes to lead the team far and into the postseason?
Podziemski is coming off a great rookie year and Kuminga blossomed a lot last year while Wiggins again had some setbacks.
But now all three of them will be tasked with even more responsibilities from head coach Steve Kerr.
The Warriors are eager to return with a vengeance to the playoffs, especially since Curry is nearing retirement.
However, they will be playing in a very tough conference and this starting five may need some tweaks if they are going to reach their goals.
There has been talk of the Warriors hunting for another A-list star and they might find a new addition at some point during the season.
Therefore, these five will be the starting lineup but may not remain that way.
