While the Miami Dolphins season took a bad turn after losing Tua Tagovailoa, they have some good news with their receivers.
Despite playing with backup QBs, two of the Dolphins’ receivers are in the top five in receiving yards.
So who are these two players, and will they get even more yards with Tagovailoa’s return?
Tyreek Hill And Jaylen Waddle Both Make The Top Five
While many people had doubts about Miami’s passing game, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle have ended those doubts.
Their combined 1,234 receiving yards beats out every wide receiver duo in the NFL.

However, it’s Waddle’s fifth place ranking that’s shocking some NFL fans.
There was a belief that Waddle couldn’t do well in Miami with Tagovailoa as his QB.
Those same people also felt Hill’s numbers were going to be the worst of his career under the young Dolphins’ QB.
While people had their doubts, these two receivers are shining each game they play.
Both Hill and Waddle have been a huge help during the Dolphins 3-0 start to the season.
However, the backup QBs haven’t used these two the same way the Dolphins starting QB did when he was playing.
With the Dolphins getting Tagovialoa back, can this receiver duo put up touchdowns in addition to those receiving yards?
Improvements Will Come With Tua Return
With the Dolphins getting their starting QB back, he can use these two deadly receivers to help them win games.
He’s got a rhythm with them that neither backup QB can claim with them.
Because of this, Waddle and Hill will get the Dolphins wins with the return of Tua.
