The Miami Dolphins are coming into Week 7 of the NFL season with a 3-3 record.
With them two games behind the Bills in the AFC East, the team is looking to ship out their veteran tight end.
The Dolphins having Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle as their offensive stars in the passing game leave this veteran TE out of the mix.
So which player will they trade and what are the needs they have as they field trade offers?

While he’s a solid tight end for the Dolphins, the team has other needs.
With their offensive line having issues protecting their QB, that’s one area they need improvement with immediately.
Trading Gesicki for help on the front five of the Dolphins offensive line is a brilliant move.
However, the market might be slim for an offensive line improvement.
Another area they need help with is at cornerback.
Xavien Howard needs some help, and the Dolphins can use someone to back him up.
Howard is also dealing with a groin injury he suffered in the team’s victory against the Baltimore Ravens.
With the Dolphins defense allowing 91 points in their three losses, adding a cornerback can help lower that number.
The bending of the Dolphins defense is breaking, and that is leading to problems against opponents.
If they can get that additional CB, then maybe a Gesicki trade can save the Dolphins season.
