The New York Jets and Denver Broncos seem to have a rivalry brewing this offseason.
It started when Sean Payton called out the Jets for being on “Hard Knocks” and saying the only winning they will do this year is in the offseason.
Also, he called out Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett saying the coaching job he did in Denver last year was one of the worst he has ever seen.
Many of the Jets coaches and players were not happy that Payton called them out.
One player even took a subtle shot at Payton with what he wore during their first preseason game.
According to Dov Kleiman, Payton made rules that his team must follow for their preseason games.
This included no sunglasses, no bucket hats, and no in-game interviews.
Was this the greatest trolling job of the NFL season by Garrett Wilson or a complete coincidence? 🤔

As you can see above, Wilson did everything that Payton said his players could not do.
But, when asked about it Wilson would not confirm that he was trolling Payton.
According SNY, Wilson said: “I was advised not to speak on it.”
Garrett Wilson is asked if he was trolling Sean Payton with his outfit during a sideline interview last weekend:

Even though Wilson won’t admit to it, most people know what he was doing.
The best part about all of this is that the Broncos and Jets are set to play in Week 5.
So we get to see this budding rivalry in action in what will be a must-see game.
It will be interesting to see which team has more success this upcoming season.
Both have high expectations and they could end up vying for the same Wild Card spot at year’s end.
