For years, the Green Bay Packers had an elite offense and an average defense.
That unit let down Aaron Rodgers again and again in the playoffs, and it threatened to do the same to Jordan Love.
That’s why adding coordinator Jeff Hafley was such a master move by this organization, as he has finally turned that defense around in less than two seasons.
With an elite on-field addition like Micah Parsons, the Packers have everything they need to thrive.
That’s why former NFL player Isaiah Stanback calls their defense “a problem” for the rest of the NFL.
“[Jeff Hafley] is in a candy store. He has all the toys. That’s what this dude has with this defense. Micah Parsons has given him the final Infinity Stone that he needs to go out there and be an absolute menace with his defensive calls. The defense for Green Bay, it’s going to be a problem, and it absolutely was for Aaron Rodgers and his posse (with the Pittsburgh Steelers),” Stanback said.

Of course, all good things can be improved, and the Packers’ defense isn’t perfect by any means.
Xavier McKinney hasn’t been the playmaker he was last season, and Nate Hobbs’ struggles are becoming a problem in the secondary.
They should look to address those woes by trading for a cornerback before the upcoming NFL deadline.
But even if they don’t, they should be in a position to succeed more often than not.
The Packers are holding their opponents to 78.9 rushing yards per game, third-best in the league, and their 21.4 points allowed per game are 10th-fewest.
This team is finally well-rounded, and that should spell trouble for the rest of the league.
