The Cincinnati Bengals will head into the 2023 NFL season as legitimate Super Bowl title contenders once again, as the team is expected to be a force to be reckoned with in the AFC and perhaps the biggest threat to the Kansas City Chiefs’ chances of repeating.
However, the Bengals did stumble a bit right out of the gate once training camp got underway, with superstar quarterback Joe Burrow going down with a calf injury during practice, requiring him to be taken off the field on a cart.
Initially, the injury seemed to be serious and something that would significantly impact the 2023 campaign for the Bengals, but that no longer appears to be the case, with Burrow returning to practice for Cincinnati on Wednesday via Dov Kleiman.

He will be hurt again by week 3 (not hoping for it … it’s just likely )

Although Burrow has been urged to take his time in returning to the field, even by close friend and teammate Ja’Marr Chase, who benefits greatly from him being under center, the rising star has been anxious to get back to work, especially with the start of the season being right around the corner.
The majority of the reactions from the fans seem to be positive, with the team having Burrow back being a massive boost for morale and, obviously, the production on the field.
However, there seems to be some concern that he’s rushing to get back on the field, which can often result in re-injury or suffering a worse injury.
