Earlier this year, the Commanders were subjects of a Congressional hearing.
However, Snyder skipped out of this hearing when he was asked to testify.

While that’s an excellent question, the story of him having dirt on people is a plausible answer.
It is plausible to see him using dirt to keep himself as owner of the Commanders.
