The start of the 2023-24 NBA season is still a couple of months away, with the first two games of the season set to be played on October 24.
The Los Angeles Lakers will face the defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets in the Mile High City, followed by the Phoenix Suns taking on the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco.
The rest of the NBA schedule will be released on Thursday, with every team in the league anxious to see what dates they can circle on their calendar.
Although there are still a few more days until the rest of the schedule is released, the schedule for the new NBA In-Season Tournament has been released, and there’s already a favorite for which team will come out on top.
According to NBA on ESPN, the Boston Celtics will be the team to beat in the tournament, with Jayson Tatum and company being considered the favorites right now, via Legion Hoops.

After failing to live up to expectations last season, coming one win shy of a second straight trip to the NBA Finals, the Celtics decided to make some changes this summer, with the team recently acquiring star forward Kristaps Porzingis in a deal with the Washington Wizards.
As part of the deal, the team also shipped longtime starter Marcus Smart to the Memphis Grizzlies and, not long after, traded Grant Williams to the Dallas Mavericks.
The new-look Celtics are looking to bounce back with a vengeance next season with high hopes of being one of the best offenses in the NBA.
