The Golden State Warriors and their fanbase have gotten used to Draymond Green getting caught in spats either in person or online via social media.
Green has never been afraid to speak his mind and while that has gotten him in trouble on a few occasions, it’s one of the reasons why the Warriors are able to play with such an edge when he’s on the court.
The former Defensive Player of the Year is willing to call out players and fans alike anytime he sees something worth addressing.
One common critique Green has run into is his constant defense of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.
Green and James share a close friendship off the court, but the former catches flak from people whenever he decides to speak highly of the latter.
One fan recently accused Green of playing both sides when it comes to Stephen Curry and James and he had something to say about it via his Twitter account.
“Imagine overvaluing your opinion so much, that you get this caught up in two men lives,” Green tweeted. “Starts using the word “Enemy” to describe two black heroes, and then proceed to falsely accuse another black man of playing both sides. Both sides of what to be exact? A pointless debate?
Or… The simple appreciation of others greatness? I am super confused on what sides it is that you speak of. Lastly, I don’t play anything but basketball. You don’t make it this far in life “playing”… with the exception being playing basketball for me. Good luck with the debate

As Curry’s teammate and James’ friend and fellow Klutch client, Green is caught in the middle though he has a point that fans tend to fixate on non-basketball matters too much.
Green will probably just chalk this up as another regular Twitter take that he will brush off.
