Damian Lillard’s relationship with the Portland Trail Blazers has reached a breaking point.
The multi-time All-Star is still determined to get away from the team, although they seem reluctant to trade him to his preferred destination.
Lillard even refused to talk about the team and their situation in his latest interview, but he didn’t seem quite content with what’s going on right now.
However, regardless of his feelings for the organization, he still has nothing but love and respect for the city and the fans, and he recently vowed to finish every initiative he started to try and help the community (via Blazers Nation).
Despite Damian Lillard's trade request, he stays committed to the city of Portland, which he has called home for several years now.

Lillard has been quite active in the community since he joined the team, and that’s not going to change even if — when — he leaves.
He’s been a fan favorite for his work on and off the court, and he knows the fans aren’t to blame for how the team has been managed throughout the course of his career.
The Blazers currently hold all the leverage in negotiations, as he’s still got four years left in his contract and doesn’t have a no-trade clause.
Lillard wants to play for the Miami Heat, but talks seem to have stalled at this point.
Some believe the Blazers are still holding onto the hope that he’ll change his mind and decide to run it back with them.
But judging by his attitude, it’s highly unlikely that we’ll ever see him wear a Blazers jersey again.
