The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a hard-fought victory over the Houston Texans in Week 14.
Now they head to the Jacksonville Jaguars for another must-win game in Week 15.
Dallas needs to play a better game all around if they want to leave Jacksonville with a win.
Unfortunately, the Cowboys lost a few key players this past week.
So they need a handful of guys to take on a bigger role.
Here are the two Cowboys players who need to step up in Week 15.
1. Jason Peters, Offensive Tackle
One of the big injuries the Cowboys suffered in Week 14 was to offensive tackle Terence Steele.
So now the Cowboys have a huge void to fill at right tackle.
Steele has been very good this year for the Cowboys, playing like a Pro Bowler in his second season.
Now it appears that Jason Peters and Josh Ball will split time at right tackle in Dallas.
But, it should not take long for the Cowboys to realize Peters needs to be out there every play.
Jason Peters hadn’t played RT since 2005. The old regime wouldn’t have made this move. Not ONE bad play by Peters during the game winning drive. People don’t understand the challenge to go from the left side to the right. Amazing work to save the game. #DallasCowboys pic.twitter.com/8G571WiaSN

Despite being 40 years old and having limited experience at right tackle, Peters outplayed Ball last week.
Peters’ ability to neutralize defenders was a big reason for the Cowboys’ 98-yard game-winning drive.
Peters should be the new starting right tackle, and hopefully, the Dallas offense will not miss a beat.
2. Carlos Watkins, Defensive Tackle
One of the best run defenders on the Cowboys has been Johnathan Hankins.
Sadly, Hankins is expected to miss the rest of the regular season with a pectoral injury suffered in Week 14.
The Cowboys have struggled against the run for most of this season.
But, it is now Carlos Watkins‘ time to show what he can do in a larger role.

If the Cowboys can continue to stop the run, their defense can stop anybody.
But, plenty of pressure will be added to Watkins and the other defensive linemen to make up for the loss of Hankins.
