The Dallas Cowboys have a chance to make a Super Bowl run this year.
But, they have to stay healthy to be able to do that.
Unfortunately, the Cowboys were unable to do that in Week 14.
Dallas lost multiple starters on Sunday, and a few are expected to miss an extended period.
The two key losses were offensive tackle Terence Steele and defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins.
Cowboys NT Johnathan Hankins is out for remainder of regular season, team owner Jerry Jones told @1053thefan. “You can see Johnathan back for the playoffs. He won’t be back before then.” Hankins suffered a pectoral strain Sunday vs. Texans.

With Dallas all but guaranteed a playoff spot at this point, getting Hankins back for the playoffs would be huge.
Unfortunately, Steele will be done for the remainder of the season.
The “next man up” mantra will have to be preached by the Cowboys coaching staff.
Who’s there to replace him? Next man up… I will say these injuries are hitting us vary hard at a bad time… we need all hands on deck for our run defense.

Tough Injury News
The Cowboys are already in a tough spot with their run defense.
So losing Hankins will be a big loss and the player is tough to replace.
But, not all hope is lost amongst Cowboys fans as they look for defensive line replacements.
Optimistic view: Watkins has been playing really well, bohana is coming off his best game of his career and neville looked pretty good as well

Like most NFL seasons, it is a battle of attrition.
Not only are you tasked will beating your opponent each week, but you must find ways to stay healthy.
At least the Cowboys have a few weeks to get their roster square before starting the playoffs.
These injuries piling up sucks but it’s next guy up, I feel out of the contenders it’ll be who is the healthiest that’ll win the chip

Luckily for the Cowboys, they are expected to get left tackle Tyron Smith back this week.
Smith has been on the injured reserve all year, but he has been one of the best offensive tackles in the league for a long time.
Also, the Cowboys signed T.Y. Hilton this week and are hoping he can provide a spark to the offense.
Overall, this Cowboys team is good enough to make a deep playoff run this season, but they must remain healthy.
