The New York Jets finally made the big move to hire Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn to be their next head coach.
Glenn comes over after an impressive stint that saw him turn the Lions into a top-10 defense.
On Wednesday, Fox Sports host Colin Cowherd reacted to the team hiring Glenn while on “The Herd.”
“I think (Glenn’s) impressive. Former Jet…I don’t have a problem with it. I think the Jets have the best roster (among the teams looking for a new head coach),” Cowherd said.

As Cowherd noted, Glenn used to play for the Jets.
He spent the first eight seasons of his career with New York after being selected in the first round back in 1994.
In his eight seasons with the team, he made two Pro Bowls and was a cornerstone piece of the team.
The Jets needed a true motivator and a leader of men to come in and lead the team after how tough of a season 2024 was.
Now, they have one of the best defensive coaches in the league in charge with a really good roster in place.
However, owner Woody Johnson still has to find out who the next general manager of his team will be now that he has his head coach.
After Johnson finds the general manager, he, along with Glenn and the general manager, will then decide whether or not they want to keep future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
