Colin Cowherd is one of sports media’s premier hot-take artists and creates headlines daily with his well-crafted monologues with some of the spiciest takes in the game sprinkled throughout.
Unfortunately, when you shoot as often as Cowherd does, sometimes you miss, which is exactly what happened to Cowherd on Wednesday’s episode of “The Herd.”
Cowherd had Jason McIntyre on as a guest, and when discussing Kirk Cousins, McIntyre said to Cowherd, “Give me the most memorable Kirk Cousins playoff victory,” to which Cowherd replied, “Well, the miracle. The Minnesota Miracle. Wasn’t that him? Maybe I’m wrong on that. Was that Case Keenum or something? My bad.”

At least he caught himself, but that’s a tough one.
The reality is that Cousins only has one playoff win, which happened in 2020 when he led the Vikings to a win over the New Orleans Saints in the Wild Card round by throwing for 242 yards and a touchdown.
McIntyre’s point about Cousins not being a big playoff performer is accurate, as Kirk is 1-4 in his career in the playoffs with just five touchdowns in those five games.
Cousins’ performance has come under fire in recent weeks now that he hasn’t thrown a touchdown pass over his last four games, while he has compiled eight interceptions during that time frame to capture the league lead with 15 on the year.
Cousins hasn’t thrown a TD since November 3rd and his Atlanta Falcons have lost four in a row, so Cowherd isn’t the only one who has made a mistake lately.
