The Houston Texans started the 2024 NFL season with a strong win over the Indianapolis Colts.
It was a back-and-forth battle between two of the top young quarterbacks in the league, but C.J. Stroud and company stepped up and delivered a great game.
Stroud has made a real name for himself in this offense, and many believe he could win league MVP this year.
While there is a lot of excitement and enthusiasm for Stroud to lead this team, there is a point when too much excitement is a bad thing.
Stroud recently put forth a call to action for Texans fans, as he mentioned in a press conference.
“If we could be quiet a little more in offense, that would help,” Stroud said.
CJ Stroud has a couple asks for us Houston fans this Sunday Night:

He is certainly appreciative of the Houston faithful, but at a certain point, too much cheering can have a negative impact.
If the fans are too loud when the Texans are on offense, it can be harder for the team to communicate effectively with each other.
With any luck, the fans will heed Stroud’s warning, and take their foot off the gas in this respect.
If they don’t, the Texans could find themselves on the short end of the stick this week against the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football, potentially jeopardizing a home victory.
This will be another battle of two young quarterbacks, as Caleb Williams looks to have a bounceback week after struggling to get anything going in his rookie debut.
