The Milwaukee Bucks have had a proactive and exciting offseason, but they almost made another big move this week.
According to ESPN, per Jake Weinbach, the Bucks were “reportedly one of the top teams that Bradley Beal considered.”
Beal apparently had “extensive conversations” with the team, but ultimately went with the Los Angeles Clippers instead.
“Despite being a small market, top players continue to show interest in the opportunity to play alongside Giannis in Milwaukee,” Weinbach wrote.

When rumors of Beal leaving the Phoenix Suns popped up, a lot of reports said he only wanted to play for a team that could contend for a championship.
The fact that he was thinking about the Bucks proves that he believes they can go all the way soon.
Of course, the Bucks should never be counted out when Giannis Antetokounmpo is on the roster.
Even though the team hasn’t found the sort of success they want lately, they can still contend because Antetokounmpo is a force of nature and remains one of the best players in the NBA.
Beal is now moving on to the Clippers, where he could do great things and help that team climb up the Western Conference standings.
But even though the Bucks didn’t get him, fans are feeling fairly optimistic about next season.
Yes, they lost Damian Lillard, but their acquisition of Myles Turner was massive, and the pairing of him with Antetokounmpo could be magical for Milwaukee.
If the team looks better in 2025-26, you can expect that other A-list players will want to join them.
Milwaukee might not be a major market, but this report about Beal proves that it’s still a very attractive one for many players.
