Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid will one day be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
And even though he’s been more successful since arriving in Arrowhead Stadium, he had an amazing run in charge of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Reid spent more than a decade in the City of Brotherly Love before being fired ten years ago, so the upcoming Super Bowl will most definitely be an emotional game for him.
So, when asked about his feelings ahead of this exciting clash, the veteran signal-caller had nothing but praise for the city, the organization, and their passionate fans:
“I had a great time there, 14 years, long time. I’m happy for them, I’m happy for the city, they’re passionate,” Reid said. “They love football. I can’t wait till Kansas City and Philly clash, it’s going to be awesome, man! What a great Super Bowl”

Reid and the Eagles sure went through thick and thin together, but all great things eventually come to an end, and his tenure in Philly was no exception.
Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to lead them to a Super Bowl win, with Doug Pederson eventually getting the team over the hump five years ago.
Now, Nick Sirianni and Howie Roseman have put together a near-perfect roster, and they’ve played like a fine-tuned machine throughout the whole season.
Notably, the Eagles might as well have the edge in all positions except quarterback, tight end, and defensive tackle.
But Reid already knows what it takes to win at the ultimate stage, and the Chiefs suffered a heartbreaking Super Bowl loss just two seasons ago.
Whoever wins, it’s evident that the two best teams in the league were the ones to reach the big game, and we could have a matchup for the ages at Glendale, Arizona.
