The NFL season is right around the corner and there are plenty of interesting storylines to follow.
One team that many people are not expecting much from is the Los Angeles Rams.
They are two years removed from winning the Super Bowl.
Now they have a roster that might not be good enough to make the playoffs.
Part of the reason for their downfall was that they mortgaged their future to win in 2021.
Most of their best players are at the end of their careers, and the season outlook is dull.
Craig Carton, via his show, believes Sean McVay might be looking for his way out of LA.
He said: “There’s a chance Sean McVay steps down before the season starts. The Rams can’t win this year.”
"There’s a chance Sean McVay steps down before the season starts. The Rams can’t win this year. The have Caleb Williams in their sights." 😳

It would be shocking if McVay waited until a week before the season starts to leave the Rams.
If he was going to do that it would have happened earlier in the offseason.
But it would not be surprising to see this as the final year in LA for McVay.
The future of the team is not bright unless they were to land the first overall pick.
But even then, does McVay want to deal with having to develop a rookie quarterback?
It seems more and more likely that this will be his final season coaching the Rams.
McVay is one of the youngest coaches in the NFL, but he could take a year off before deciding where to coach next.
His future as an NFL coach will largely depend on how well the Rams can do this season.
