The AFC East division was expected to be one of the best in the NFL, if not the best in the league, during the 2023 campaign, with four teams that could be playoff-bound and perhaps a few being legitimate Super Bowl contenders.
With two weeks in the books, the division is heading in an interesting direction, with the Miami Dolphins emerging as the best team with an elite offense and an undefeated record after two weeks.
Along with Miami being undefeated, the New England Patriots have yet to record a win, with consecutive losses to the Philadelphia Eagles and Dolphins.
The New York Jets aren’t in much of a better position in comparison to the Patriots, with the team losing superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers for the season and having to lean on Zach Wilson moving forward.
In Week 3, the Jets and Patriots will go head-to-head in their classic rivalry, with New England desperately needing a win and New York trying to prove they can win games without Rodgers.
Willie Colon of FOX Sports believes that if Wilson can’t hold his own against the Patriots, New York needs to get rid of him, via “The Carton Show.”
"If Zach Wilson can't prove that he's a competent quarterback against the Patriots, you gotta get rid of him."

The Jets were not given any favors to start the season, as they had to face the division-rival Buffalo Bills and the elite defense of the Dallas Cowboys in consecutive weeks.
New York will have an ideal opportunity to get another win this weekend if Wilson can get things going for the offense and the defense can contain Mac Jones.
