The Golden State Warriors faced another difficult loss on Monday night, falling to the New York Knicks at home, 119-112.
The Knicks were short-handed and the Warriors were not but they still were not able to pull out a victory, which was a hugely disappointing outcome for the team.
Speaking to NBC Sports, Zena Keita talked about the position the team is in and what head coach Steve Kerr should say.
“I’m not sure what else Steve Kerr can say [to the Warriors] at this point,” Keita admitted.

Several Golden State players did good work on Monday, with Steph Curry scoring 27 points, Trayce Jackson-Davis posting 19, and Klay Thompson putting up 18.
Jonathan Kuminga was also a huge help with 16 points.
But that wasn’t enough for the Warriors and New York’s offense repeatedly sailed past them.
The Knicks’ defense was also great and there were multiple possessions where the Warriors couldn’t get close to the basket or grab hold of a rebound.
The Warriors didn’t look competitive for a number of reasons and that’s a very troubling sign, especially considering where things stand right now.
After this loss, the Warriors have slipped back down to the tenth seed in the Western Conference, right behind the Los Angeles Lakers.
However, the Houston Rockets are only a few games behind them, which is quite alarming for Golden State.
What should Kerr say and what kind of direction can he point his team in?
They had all the pieces for a win on Monday but they got outworked by the Knicks.
All season long, fans of the Warriors have been waiting for their team to get it together and have a strong run of wins before the playoffs.
Every time the team comes up short, any chance of reaching the postseason feels less and less likely.
